India Meditates Again: ‘Dhyanotsav – The Heartfulness Way’ is reaching every household across the country

News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 16th May 2019: In order to bring the benefits of meditation to people of all walks of life, Heartfulness Institute has launched the Dhyanotsav initiative across the country. Dhyanotsav is a free of cost 3-day masterclass wellness fest that focuses on teaching techniques of Heartfulness Relaxation, Meditation and Cleaning free of cost to everyone.

In Tier 1 and 2 cities the gatherings host over 5000 people, whereas Gram Dhyanotsav is for Gram Mandals and Villages, attracting 700 to 1000 people at each event. The three meditation classes are designed to teach everyone how to include meditation as a part of their daily lives. Transmission brings something unique to Heartfulness, and the results include increased productivity, happiness, clear decision-making and better relationships for those who practise daily. The programs also include Yoga asanas and some interesting brain training exercises for the participants.

Commenting on the initiative, the Heartfulness Guide, Kamlesh Patel, also known as Daaji, said, “Our natural state of being is blissful and in touch with our inner nature. Meditation transforms us to that state where the mind can combat the challenges of day-to-day life, effectively. Decisions that help shape an efficient life become a habit. The entry to the fest is free and held in stadiums, government offices, corporates and other easily accessible places. People will experience relaxation, mental detox, and meditation to connect with the heart and become more balanced and peaceful.

Dhyanotsav sessions have already been held successfully in Karimnagar, Khammam, Rajahmundry, Surat, Mumbai, IICT-Hyderabad and Calicut in the last one month, attracting an average of over 5,000 people per event and touching the lives of more than 1,50,000 already. In the next two months, districts of Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and West Bengal will witness Dhyanotsav.

Heartfulness is a modern-day system of yogic meditation, also known as Sahaj Marg meaning the ‘Natural Path’, which originated at the turn of the twentieth century in India.
